HASC Online
HASC is proud to bring you our school's new Online Learning Platform and award-winning Learning Management Systems to offer our students from Nursery to Grade 12 continued access to quality education without compromising the safety of our students, guardians, parents and staff.
While utilizing these internationally recognized systems, our teachers, coordinators, principals and school director will ensure our curriculums' alignment with DepEd.
To get you started with HASC Online, let's get you familiar with some new vocabulary.
Online Learning
This refers to education delivered through the internet.
Online Learning Platform
An OLP is a web-based or app-based portal created to facilitate online learning. It houses video conferencing capabilities and HASC's student management system.
Learning Management System
An LMS is a web-based portal filled with educational content. Quipper is our LMS for Grades 11-12.
Synchronous & Asynchronous Activities
Synchronous activities happen in real-time, usually via live chat or video conferencing. Asynchronous activities are online activities that students can complete at their own pace.
Productivity Software
These are activity software that can be used to produce information. MS Word, Excel, Google Sheet and Keynote are all examples of productivity software.
Software License or Subscription
This allows the user to use a software for a specific amount of time. All HASC students have a software license for the LMS that we use for online learning.
